Features

Most laboratories record cycle information on paper laboratory forms which then need to be separately transcribed into a computer database. RI Data™ enables laboratory/ clinical staff to input data into patient records using small touch screen displays or a keyboard and mouse interface installed at laboratory work areas. By inputting directly, you eliminate transcription errors and avoid handling data multiple times. Data can be accessed and analysed immediately from anywhere on the system.

The RI Data™ system works alongside the existing clinic database and uses the RI Witness™ infrastructure to communicate the cycle information to the server. This system aims to make most paper based laboratory sheets redundant and help move the laboratory towards “paperless” operation.

RI Data™ is the latest addition to the Elements™ suite of data system solutions available from Research Instruments Ltd. It integrates seamlessly with RI Witness™ for patient sample security and RI Tracker™ for consumable traceability. Combined, these products help facilitate smooth, efficient and secure processes in the modern laboratory.
