Cryo Element
Cryo Element extends the laboratory security system, RI Witness™ from the lab to the cryo preservation storage area, allowing the comprehensive tracking of the patient samples. As part of the RI Elements™ suite, it works alongside with the Data Capture Element to provide a complete record for the patient database.
Features
The Cryo Element is an extension to the laboratory security system, RI Witness™, allowing patient samples to be tracked as they enter and leave cryo storage, creating a complete record of a patient’s cycle.
Cryo Element facilitates a seamless workflow and complete record between the lab and the cryo preservation storage area. Cryo Element moves samples from the RI Witness™ RFID to cryo-suitable barcode identification using durable, laboratory proven Brady® labels to identify the vials or vitrification straws used.
The barcode labels are designed for visual assessment and have a proven record of durability and stability within extreme temperatures.
As a component of the RI Elements™ suite of applications it allows you to record the entry and exit of a sample from the cryo preservation process and combine this functionality with the Data Capture Element.
